1. If the chamber temperature is lower than the set work setpoint, the compressor will not work. On
display the symbol that indicates compressor operation off
see board functions
2. Make sure that the “NTC probe thermostat” chamber probe reads the correct temperature. If the probe reads a value
lower than the actual temperature in the cabinet, depending on the setpoint set, the compressor operation is not
necessary.
To verify the correct reading of the “NTC probe thermostat” air probe, access the electronic card
With multimeter set in Ω, check that the resistive value of the probe matches the
temperature in the surrounding environment (see tab. NTC)
see tab. NTC
If the resistive value is incorrect or unstable,
replace the probe
3. Check that the parameters that manage the compressor operation,
r0,C0,C1,C2,C3 are correct, otherwise
set the default values
4. After disconnecting power to the equipment, access the
compressor
Check all electrical connections from the compressor to the electronic
board, to make sure that there are no false contacts
Power the equipment and set the electronic board at ON
Make sure that after the minimum OFF-ON time, parameter C0, the symbol indicating
compressor operation appears steady on the display
see board functions
With symbol displaying that the compressor is on, check that the compressor
is powered
see wiring diagram
If there is no power supply on the compressor (the condenser fans do not work), check that the “K1”
relay contact managing the compressor is closed:
- Put the board in stand-by and disconnect voltage to the equipment;
Disconnect the compressor cable from the electronic board K1 connector;
Power the equipment and turn on the display board;
After the compressor ON delay time, parameter C0, with symbol indicating compressor on displayed,
with the multimetre verify the presence of 230V +/- 10% at K1 connector output
If there is no voltage from connector “K1”
replace the electronic board
If the compressor is powered, the condenser fans work, but the compressor has
trouble starting or does not start
replace the compressor
