Security Instructions for Operation of the FRITZ!Box in
Potentially Explosive Environments
Under unfavorable conditions, radio waves can cause fires or
explosions in explosive environments.
•
Do not install and operate your FRITZ!Box in the vicinity
of flammable gases and explosive environments like re-
fueling areas, below-deck areas of ships, transport and
storage facilities for fuels or chemicals, or paintshops,
or areas in which the air contains chemicals or particles
like grain, dust or metal powder.
•
In areas with potentially explosive atmospheres, obey all
instructions to switch off high-frequency devices.
•
Do not install and operate your FRITZ!Box in the vicinity
of blasting sites.
•
In the vicinity of blasting sites, obey all instructions and
signs directing you to “switch off radio sets” or “elec-
tronic devices” in order to prevent potential disturbance
to demolition and ignition systems.
