Attention: if you want to change the temperature of the grillplate, you need to switch back to the
Standard Mode first. Press the Mode button. You will now see the grillplate temperature again and the
probe icon will have disappeared.
2. Using the Control Function
Use this function if you want to set the desired core temperature.
1. Switch on the appliance and set the desired temperature of the grillplate by means of the + and/or -
buttons. Place the food on the grillplate when the 'READY' pilot lamp lights up.
2. Press the Mode button to switch to the Probe Mode. The probe icon and the temperature on the tip
of the temperature probe are being displayed now.
3. Press the + or - button to activate the Control Function. You will now see the mention 'SET' on the
display, as well as the programmed core temperature of 84 °C.
4. Press the + and/or - button to select the desired core temperature. This temperature can be set
from 54°C to 84 °C.
Tip: Do you want to change the grillplate temperature in the meantime? Press the Mode button. The
temperature selected in the Probe Mode will be saved.
5. If you do not press any button, the display will show alternately the actual probe temperature on the
tip and the set core temperature (SET). You will hear a sound signal when the set core temperature
has been reached. There is no need to check the display constantly.
6. The set core temperature can be changed at all times in the Probe Mode. Press + or -.
