because of the risk of collision and burning.
• Pay close attention to the fryer while it is
working, and always keep children away.

Frozen foods
If water or ice is placed in a fryer at high tem
-
perature, hot liquid will be splashed about and
vigorous boiling will occur, causing the volume
of the oil to increase greatly. For this reason,
you are asked to:
• Minimise the amount of frozen food fried at
any one time.
• Remove any ice crystals on the surface of the
food.
• Immerse the frozen food slowly into the cook
-
ing oil and remove it as soon as the indicator
light comes on.
• Wait for the light to go out and then reim
-
merse the food in the cooking oil. Then re
-
fer to the cooking instructions shown on the
packaging or in the table below.
•
Never
allow a basket full of frozen food to
hang over insufficiently heated oil, as this will
cause splashing.
Recommendations
•
Never add fresh oil to used oil in the basin.
• Wipe food with absorbent paper
BEFORE
immersing it in the oil (in order to remove
juices and liquids) and AFTERWARDS to
remove excess fat.
•
Replace the oil as soon as changes become
apparent, such as darkening, a sour taste or a
burning smell.
•
Never mix oils of different qualities.
•
Never salt or season food before frying or
while they are suspended over the oil.
