IMPORTANT: All operations must be performed with the
electrical power switched off.
Fault:
Indicator does not light up (with hot water).
Cause:
The lamp has not been correctly mounted or the bulb is
defec
tive.
Solution:
Remount the lamp and thermostat or replace the bulb.
Fault:
The indicator does not light up (no hot water).
Cause:
Overheating protection has been triggered.
Solution:
Check the electrical power supply. Reconnect the overheating
protection. Contact a certified technician.
Fault:
Indicator lamp always lit (with only a little hot
water available).
Cause:
The discharge valve is open or there is a leak at the hot water
discharge.
Solution:
Inspect and close the hot water discharge.
Contact a certified technician.
Fault:
Indicator lamp always lit (no hot water)
Cause:
Thermostat’s connection has not been mounted correctly or the
heating element is disconnected.
Solution:
Remove the thermostat and check the connection. Check
whether the cable to the heating element is in order.
Contact a certified technician.
Fault:
Indicator lamp goes out when the water heater is switched on.
Cause:
The heating element is overloaded or is not connected to the
ground
cable.
Solution:
Disconnect the electrical power from the water heater and
replace the heating element. Contact a certified technician.
Fault:
Noise from the heating element.
Cause:
The water hardness is high, which involves significant
calcification on the heating element.
Solution:
Disconnect the electrical power from the water heater and
decalcify or replace the heating element. Contact a certified
technician.
Fault:
Dripping from the safety valve.
Cause:
Due to the water expanding during heating.
Solution:
Connect the safety valve to a drain.
