Installation
This water heater is only intended for the heating of a domestic water supply in
a normal private household.
Installation is the customer’s responsibility. Installation of the water heater must
only be performed by a certified technician and with respect to the applicable
building code.
The electrical connection must meet the specifications.
The safety valve must be installed correctly.
Before the water heater is connected to the power supply, the container must be
filled with water, and the apparatus must be free of leaks.
The cold-water supply must remain connected to the water heater while the unit
is in operation.
Check that the heating element, magnesium anode, safety valve and water pipe
are in order and functioning correctly.
Installation and maintenance must be carried out by a certified technician in
accordance with the applicable rules.
The water heater must be installed in an indoor frost-proof room.
Before you switch the water heater on, make sure that it is filled with water. This
is in order to avoid breaking the heating element.
Wall mounting
Check that the wall is strong enough for mounting two screws or bolts of a
suitable size, 8mm at a minimum. (not included) and make sure that they are
solidly anchored in the wall.
Be sure to note that the weight of the water container will increase by the weight
of the water after it is filled.
