Most dialysate or dialysate-related alarm parameters are accessed from the “Dialysate”
screen. Unless otherwise described, enter or change a dialysate-related value by following
the procedure described in “Entering a Parameter” on page 59.
What to do from this screen…
Enter the prescribed dialysate settings for:
Concentrate type
Base Na
+
level
Bicarbonate level
Sodium Variation (SVS) profile
Set Alarm limits for:
Low Acid/Bicarbonate alert
Position and width of Conductivity Alarm window
Warning!
The specific concentrate and sodium and bicarbonate settings must be prescribed
by a physician.
Note
: If the machine is set up for use with Citrasate®, a ‘Citrate’ meter box will be
displayed in the dialysate constituent list (Functional board software version 3.36 or later).
