(Mercedes me connect)
Amongst others, Mercedes PRO connect or
Mercedes me connect provide the following serv‐
ices:

Accident and breakdown management
(breakdown assistance call button or auto‐
matic accident or breakdown detection) as a
supplement to the emergency call system
Use the breakdown assistance call button in
the overhead control panel to make a call to
the Freightliner Sprinter Customer Center
(
/
page 180).
You can also select a menu entry in the multi‐
media system (
/
page 179).

Emergency Call System
Use the

button (SOS button) in the
overhead control panel to make a call to the
Freightliner Sprinter emergency call center
(
/
page 180).
The Freightliner Sprinter Customer Center and
the Freightliner Sprinter emergency call center
are available for you around the clock for the use
of the services.
Please note that Mercedes PRO connect, or
Mercedes me connect, is a Mercedes-Benz
service. In emergencies, always call the national
emergency services first using the standard
national emergency service phone numbers. In
emergencies, you can also use the Emergency
Call System (
/
page 225). Observe the legal
requirements for the country in which you are
staying.
The following conditions must be met to use
Mercedes PRO connect or Mercedes me connect
services in the vehicle:

You have access to a GSM network
R
The contract partner's GSM network cover‐
age is available in the respective region
R
The ignition is switched on, so that vehicle
data can be transferred automatically
