Messages
Your DVR can receive messages from the broadcaster. These can give you information on future
programmes, special offers/events, etc.
To read these messages:-

From time to time new services are launched which may require your DVR to be upgraded with
new software before you can use them. Sometimes new features may be introduced to enhance
your DVR.
These updates take place during the night and will usually be proceeded by a message telling
you when the upgrade will be sent. During this time, the DVR should be left in standby to allow
the upgrade to take place.
If, for any reason, you wish to return to the previous version of software, refer to page 26.
It is strongly recommended that you keep your DVR up to date.
