IDE HDD Block Mode : Block mode is also called block transfer,
multiple commands, or multiple sector read/write. If your IDE hard
drive supports block mode (most new drives do), select Enabled for
automatic detection of the optimal number of block read/writes per
sector the drive can support. The default setting is “Enabled.”
On-Chip Primary/ Secondary PCI IDE :
These options enable or
disable the primary and secondary onboard IDE controllers. The
default setting is “Enabled.”
IDE Primary/Secondary Master/Slave PIO : Each IDE channel
supports a master device and a salve device. These four items let you
assign which kind of PIO (Programmed Input/Output) is used by
IDE devices. Choose select a PIO mode from 0-4.
IDE Primary/Secondary Master/Slave UDMA : Each IDE channel
supports a master device and a salve device. This mainboard
supports Ultra DMA technology, which provides faster access to
IDE devices.
