Power management setup
ACPI Function:
When set to “Enabled,” turns on the ACPI Func-
tion. The default setting is “Disabled.”
Note: ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface) is
a power management specification that makes hardware status
information available to the operating system. ACPI enables a
PC to turn its peripherals on and off for improved power man-
agement. It also allows the PC to be turned on and off by
external devices, so that mouse or keyboard activity wakes up
the computer.
Power Management:
This setting controls the System Doze Mode,
Standby Mode and Suspend Mode Timer features. There are four
options:

allows you to customize all power saving
timer features

Optimize:
recommended setting for general use
•
Test/Demo:
for test/demonstration purposes
•
Disable:
disables the power management features
