This section describes the functioning of the remote monitoring interface in more
detail and provides wiring examples for common installation types.
11.1 Signalling
The XIFOS 33 bar features two PLC Type 1, 2 and 3 compatible outputs to enable
remote monitoring of the bar status, and a DISABLE input to allow the HV supplies
to be externally disabled when not required (‘Standby’ mode). For example, the bar
can be linked into the safety interlock system of the machine to ensure operator
safety during changeover periods.
