DNS Server Address – The domain name system (DNS) is the way that internet domain

names are located and translated into Internet Protocol addresses. A domain name is a

meaningful and easy-to-remember tag for an internet address (used for e-mail functions).

•

DHCP Server – Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is a network protocol that

enables a server to automatically assign an IP address to a computer from a defined range

of numbers (i.e., a scope) configured for a given network. See the configuration section for

more details.

NOTE:

To help prevent network errors, do not connect a DHCP server enabled device on a

network that already has a DHCP server.
