MODBUS COMMUNICATION
The MODBUS RTU network must be connected to the MODBUS socket on the PCB.
J3 socket type: PHOENIX CONTACT-MC 1.5/3-ST-3.5 SOCKET, FREE, 3.5 MM, 3 WAY) - France AIR code: 125457.
To use the unit with the ModBus protocol, refer to the specific manual (MODBUS RTU – RS 485 communication
protocol).

GENERAL ALARM RELAY
It is possible to manage a configurable alarm relay. For each type of alarm, a parameter allows you to select
whether the alarm data should be signalled on the alarm relay. Several alarms can be addressed to the
relay.

INITIAL SYSTEM START-UP
READ CAREFULLY!
•
Secure the unit. Close it and establish the air connections
•
Connect the power supply (following the diagram on the cabinet)
•
Connect the remote control to the terminal block
•
Do not forget to install the machine protections
•
Check the earthing
•
Check the voltages (240 or 400 V)
•
Close the proximity switch
•
The control unit indicates "checking" and then the screen displays OFF
•
The Power Box® Ready is set to OFF
•
Press ESC to view the alarms and acknowledge them
o
RTC, re-enter the time and date or use the installer/clock menu
o
Start the machine when all faults are eliminated by pressing on ESC
o
Re-enter your parameters, speed, mode and other functions in the installer menu (code 1616)
When the machine is started for the first time: it is necessary to configure the control. Please note that,
by default, the fans are off (corresponding to speed 0)

Any intervention on or modification of the unit's internal connection is prohibited and shall
render the warranty void.

We recommend using the accessories supplied by us. Please contact France Air in case of doubt
regarding the possibility of using non-genuine accessories.
