Cyanuric Acid / Stabilizer/Conditioner 

Cyanuric acid, CYA, (also known as stab ilizer or conditioner) prevents rapid breakdown of chlorine by 
sunlight and inhibits the corrosive effects of chlorine and bromine. Regulations may exist regarding use of 
Cyanuric acid in public pools; please consult your pool professional. Use the chart b elow to determine the 
amount of Cyanuric acid needed. Test water with a test kit that includes CYA testing, then use the chart 
below to determine the amount to add.
