Operation Manual
ENGLISH
On board is a Marine VHF handheld radio and a fixed Marine VHF DSC GMDSS radio with handset of the latest
standard, which is connected to the boat network. In the DISTRESS case, the MMSI and position data are transmitted
automatically, even if no speak call can be made. All normal DSC functions are also possible, more details in the
manual of the radio.
If another GMDSS radio in the vicinity sends out a distress call, the radio receives the signal, sounds an audible alarm,
and displays the ship’s position in distress with an alarm image on the chartplotters.

RADIO SET
The Distress button is located on the back of the handset, covered behind a flap.
Press until the alarm is triggered.
Make sure that the radio is operated only by persons who have a radio authorization
(at least SRC marine radio license). But emergency knows no law! In the Distress case,
anyone can press the distress button and make emergency calls. However, be aware that
the radio is operated incorrectly or is being used by unauthorized persons during normal
operation – you are liable. Pay attention to children, a radio is not a toy. Private calls via
radio are prohibited!
In any fire case the base must be informed immediately!
