3.15 BMC Service Connector

The BMC Service connector is a 40-pin, 0.5 mm pitch Front-Flip Connector. The additional
DB40 Debug Card from ADLINK allows access to the following functions.

BIOS POST codes

BIOS Flash programming without powering up the module (required for flashing new 
BIOS versions)

Power Supply and System Status Test Points

Firmware update of the BMC

BMC Debug Information

SMBus interface of the module
