8.
The used collector and Active Carbon Filter can be disposed of in your
residential waste bin unless this does not comply with your local
regulations, as stated in section 1.1 Safety measures. We suggest to
place the used filters in the package of the new filters before disposing.
9.
Flip the main switch back to position 1 to turn on the E-PURE ASPRA,
allow the unit some time to start running.
5.3 Setting the E-PURE ASPRA on “ON“ mode
1.
Plug the power cord [5] into a grounded power outlet. Do not connect
voltages other than the labelled factory requirement (~220-240 V, 50-60
Hz).
2.
Make sure the collector container is secured in the E-PURE ASPRA. The
E-PURE ASPRA might not turn ON if the collector container is not secured in
the E-PURE ASPRA (clicked in at both sides).
3.
Set the main switch [3] to position 1. The switch will light up and the fan will
start producing sound. Your air purifier is now cleaning the air.
4.
For the best cleaning results, we advise to keep the E-PURE ASPRA turned
ON 24/7.
5.4 Adjusting the speed (E-PURE ASPRA S400-M)
When in “ON” mode, change the ventilator speed setting by turning the speed
setting knob (6). Turn right for a higher speed and left for a lower speed. By
increasing the speed, more air will be purified at the same time.
5.5 How often you should replace your collectors
Note! To guarantee the operation of the air purifier, it is important to regularly
REPLACE the collector (particle filter) and the active carbon filter (gas and
odour filter). Collectors and active carbon filters are suited for single use and
CANNOT be reused, regenerated, cleaned with water or be vacuumed.
We recommend replacing your collectors and active carbon filter on average every
9-12 months, when using your air cleaner continuously. You can deviate from this if
you have received a personal replacement advice from Formula Air or if you know
that your pollution levels are much higher or lower than the average situation. Be
aware that under higher pollution levels, collectors will need to be replaced more
frequently.
5.6 Maintenance
To ensure the optimal functioning of your air purifier we recommend professional
maintenance every 5 years, depending on the pollution degree of your environment.
Contact your supplier to schedule maintenance. It is also possible to clean the
inside of electrostatic section yourself, provided you own the Cleaning brush. By
doing this, you can delay the need for professional maintenance. Always follow the
instructions provided with the Cleaning brush.
Do not clean the electrostatic section without the Cleaning brush, in order to
prevent decreased performance and risk of electric shock. This will automatically
expire the product warranty.
