CONFERENCE CALL FUNCTION
(only with Bluetooth
®
phones
supporting this function)
With the Conference Call function you
can call another contact while you are
engaged in a phone conversation yet.
In this way you can speak with both
contacts at the same time.
To start a Conference call while you are
still engaged in a phone conversation,
call the second required contact as
described in section MAKING
A PHONE CALL.
When Conference Call option is active
the display will show “
CONFERENCE
”.
During a conference call, press
ß
/MAIN
for a long time to end
both calls.
Note
A third incoming call received during
a conference call cannot be managed.
If your mobile phone equipped with
Bluetooth
®
technology supports the
SMS message reader function, when
a new SMS message is received,
Ford
Audio
will notify you with an acoustic
signal and ask you if you want to read it
(depending on the notification options
set).
For information on the notification
options, refer to the paragraph
Notification settings.

If you want
Ford Audio
to read
the received SMS message with
manual interaction, press
SRC/OK
or
ß
/MAIN
. The SMS
message will be read taking into
account any abbreviations and
emoticons within the text.
If you do not want to read the
SMS message, press
&
/ESC Ford
Audio
will not read the message
but save it so that it can be read
another time (for further
information, refer to the
Read
last message received
paragraph).

Or, using voice interaction:
if you say “
Yes
”,
Ford Audio
will
read the text of the message,
taking into account any
abbreviations present, but if you
do not want to read the message
just say “
No
”: the system will save
it to give you the possibility of
reading it later (for further
information please refer to
Read
last message received
paragraph).
