IMPORTANT
While setting the effective area, a bounding box that indicates the effective area is
displayed on the VIDEO OUT output screen. When the settings are completed, the
bounding box will disappear.
Effective use of Effective Area
Images with black bars at the edges result in edge flicker after shake correction without
effective area setting. Setting the effective area can reduce such noises.
Set the effective area as shown below.
1) When using the preset values (4 : 3 (+0 to +7), 16 : 9 (-7 to +7))
The preset values are effective when input images constantly have black bars both at the
top and bottom.
2) When using ADJUST settings
The Adjust settings are effective when input images have black bars around the images.
