When the valves are actuated, it still takes a certain time until the valves are closed.
During this time, a certain number of pulses are still generated by the measuring unit
that are not registered. To ensure that these pulses can be analysed, the unit must
continue counting after the valve has been closed until there are no more pulses.
This waiting time is known as the "Auto Correction" time [AC].
The FLUXTRONIC then shuts off the valves earlier by the volume measured here so
that the excess volume of liquid that would otherwise have been filled is automatically
corrected.
Should the measuring unit fail during the filling process and should no more pulses be
generated, the valve would no longer be able to close.
A pulse monitoring time [Err] can be set to prevent this. If no pulses can be registered
during the set time period, the Err output is actuated, the symbol "Err" flashes on the
display and outputs [S1] and [S2] are switched off (the valves are closed).
A pulse is generated at the OK output following a successful filling process.
A further counter could be started using this output via the external Start/Stop.
The output could also be used to operate an additional cycle counter.
Filling can also be done via a key (closer) via an external Start/Stop input without the
FLUXTRONIC being accessed.

Time
[S2] switches to OFF when
the set residual volume is
reached and the assigned
valve closes.
Auto Correction Time
[AC]
Once the volume to be
filled is reached, [S1]
also switches to Off and
the corresponding valve
closes.
At the end of the Auto
Correction time, the
[OK] output is briefly
switched to ON and
again to OFF.
Both valves are
opened if [S1] and
[S2} switch to ON.
