6.5 Shut-off procedure
6.5.1 Over-night protection
z
Flush print head one by one until you can’t see ink in the ink tube.
z
Wipe-off any ink contamination on carriage plate bottom.
z
Pour Flush solution to the lint free cloth on top of the prepared print head
capping material.
z
Install the Print head Capping into the bottom of the Print head Carriage
securing it with the cling wrap which is wrapped-around the print head carriage
z
Shut off the negative pressure valves.
z
Shut-off the power for machine and PC
z
Close the machine covers
z
Do housekeeping if necessary
6.5.2 Long term protection
z
Flush the print head until a clear flushing solution are jetting out of the print
head nozzles.
z
Shut-off the negative pressure valves.
z
Disconnect the print head input tube from the Ink Supply line, cap the inlet
interface.
z
Uninstall the print head, package it with lint free cloth. Then put it into
anti-static plastic bag.
z
Do the same procedure on other Print heads.
z
Wipe-off any ink contamination.
z
Turn off the Main Power switch.
z
Close all the machine cover.
z
Switch-off the ventilation and lighting in the printing room if necessary.
z
Perform Housekeeping if necessary.
