When in this mode it is possible to switch off the screen via a single, long press
on the 'Select' key. A press of any button restores the screen to its default
brightness.
Whilst the screen is switched off all internal functions of the AIS transceiver
continue to operate as normal.
4.4 Changing navigation status
Press the ‘
Navigation status / Screen brightness’
key. The screen will change
to the Navigation menu screen. Move to the desired navigation status icon to
select it.
