7.2.3 Conducting a trial run
After the machine is set up and prepared and before work begins, a trial run must be conducted in
unloaded condition

Objective
Check to ensure the machine is set up and functioning properly.
Prerequisites

Machine is ready for operation

Machine is completely set up
Familiarise yourself with the basic safety instructions (see section
) and the
instructions for first-time start-up (see section 5.1) before the trial run and take
all the safety precautions listed in these sections.
Procedure

Turn on the machine as specified.

Perform all functions of the machine individually.

Correct the settings if necessary.
7.3 Controlling the drag hose spreader
The drag hose spreader is controlled using two double-action tractor control units.
