Rough Estimation of the Coupling
Size by Means of the Service Factor
Listed load classification symbols may be modi-
fied after stating exact operating conditions.
When selecting the size of a coupling, the service
factor f

of table 7.II depending on the specific
load classification symbol of table 7.I must be
allowed for. This service factor comprises up to
25 starts per hour. During the start, twice the
nominal torque is permissible. For more frequent
starting, please refer to the factory. With angular
misalignment, the factor f
