from the train rake without the couplings
getting entangled with each other (Fig.

4.5 The Advantages of the
PROFI-coupling
If you fit FLEISCHMANN PROFI-couplings
to your vehicles, there are even more
advantages for the operations:
• The gap between two vehicles - espe-
cially when fitted with the close-coupling
mechanism (K) – is realistically very small
and gives your train a good overall
appearance. (Fig. 18).
• You can pre-uncouple the vehicles over
an uncoupler track and then simply
shunt one or more of them to any desired
place in the layout.
The PROFI-couplings can be easily moun-
ted because of the coupling socket:
