nary in the upper loop without any power in
the track. Change both sets of points to
"branch-off” (Fig. 14.2) and then the upper
train will run, whilst the lower one remains
at a standstill. Keep the wire clips in a safe
place, in case you wish to convert the
points back to their original condition as
delivered.
4.4 Running with the Standard Coupling
FLEISCHMANN N gauge vehicles are fitted
with standard couplings, which provide a
number of advantages:
• When running, the vehicles remain firmly
fastened together (Fig. 15).
• You can easily couple up vehicles on the
straight track.
• You can easily uncouple vehicles using
the FLEISCHMANN uncoupler tracks
(Fig. 16).
