Operator:
A natural person or legal entity who is the owner of the product and uses the aforementioned product, or is
nominated to use it, under the terms of a contractual agreement.

Principal:
The legally and commercially responsible party in the execution of construction projects. Legally and commercially
liable client in the commission of building projects.
• Responsible person:
The representative appointed to act by the main contractor or operator.

Qualified person (QP):
Any person whose professional training, experience and recent professional activity gives them the
requisite professional knowledge. This implies that said person has knowledge derived from relevant national and internal
safety regulations.
