MACHINE SET UP

1.
To meet the conformity requirements of the European Community (CE) Machinery Safety
Directive (2006/42/EC) or UK (UKCA) Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 place the
machine into an appropriate safety enclosure.
This step can be ignored if the machine is not required to conform to these standards.
2.
Fix the Vertical Rod assembly (1) onto the main worktable of the machine using the 4 off
M5 socket head screws provided in the accessories bag.
3.
Slide the Horizontal Rod assembly (2) down and onto the Vertical Rod Assembly (1).
Position initially at the top of the Vertical Rod Assembly (1). Use the clamping lever (3) to
lock in position by rotating clockwise.
4.
Slide the Z-Axis drive assembly (4) over and onto the Horizontal Rod Assembly (2). Use
the clamping lever (5) to lock in position by rotating clockwise.
