-Warning!: Danger of fire
Oil and fuel vapours can ignite on contact with ignition
sources. Therefore:
• No open flames during work on the generator.
• Do not smoke.
• Remove oil and fuel residues from the generator and floor.
Danger!: Danger of poisoning
Contact with engine oil, antifreeze and fuel can result in
damage to health.Therefor:
• Avoid skin contact with engine oil, fuel and antifreeze.
• Remove oil and fuel splashes and antifreeze from the skin
immediately.
• Do not inhale oil and fuel vapours.
ATTENTION!: Danger to Life - High voltage
Danger for Life. Improper handling, operation,
installation and maintenance can result in severe
personal injury and/or material damage.
Electrical voltages above 48 volts (battery chargers greater
than 36 volts) are always dangerous to life). The rules of the
respective regional authority must be adhered to. Only an
electrician may carry out installation of the electrical
connections for safety reasons.
Warning!: Hot surface/material
Generator, oil and antifreeze can be hot during/after
operation. Risk of severe burns.
Warning:
Batteries contain diluted sulphuric acids and bases
Incorrect use can warm up and burst the batteries. Diluted
sulphuric acid / base can escape. Under unfavourable
conditions there is a risk of explosion
Observe the instructions from your battery manufacturer.
Instruction!: Personal protective equipment
necessary.
During Installation/maintenance personal protective
equipment is required to minimize the health hazards.
• Protective clothing
• safety boots
• protective gloves
• Ear defender
• safety glasses
Attention!: disconnect all load
Disconnect all load during the work at the generator to
avoid damages at the load.
