4.9.4 DUMPER LOADING
- For dump body loading, manual loading, loading under silos or with another mechanical means,
no specifi c explanations are necessary, except to follow the safety regulations. Do not stay seated on the
driver’s seat during loading.
4.9.5 DUMPER UNLOADINIG
- Approach the unloading area keeping at a safe distance.
- Stop the vehicle.
- Slowly raise the dump body and unload.
- Lower the dump body.
CAUTION: Always lower the dump body after unloading.
CAUTION: Before proceeding, always read the safety regulations for the operations to be carried out
as set out in Chapter 3.
4.9.6 DUMPING CORRECTLY ON SLOPES (fi g. 25)
CAUTION: Observing the recommended gradient limits does not mean that you can manoeuvre the
vehicle in total freedom in all load, ground or manoeuvring conditions on a slope. In any
event, it is advisable to halve the gradient values on wet or uneven ground.
Driving on slopes with a gradient above the prescribed one may cause the vehicle
to lose stability and consequently overturn.
To avoid losing stability:
- Do not unload with the vehicle steered
- Be very careful when unloading compact material.
