To insert the power cable of the appliance, proceed as follows:
1. Do what is required to make sure the appliance is in a safe
condition (read the section “
APPLIANCE SAFETY
”).
2. Free the vacuum tank (1) lid using the handle (2) on the front of
the collection tank, turn the handle clockwise.
3. Using the handle (3), in the vacuum tank lid, remove the vacuum
tank lid from the collection tank (rotating it and shifting it as
indicated in the figure). Put the vacuum tank lid gently on the floor.
4. Turn the power cable fastener (4) 180 degrees anti-clockwise.
CONNECTING THE POWER CABLE
5. Insert the power cable plug (5) into the socket (6) on the
appliance.
6. Turn the power cable fastener (4) 180 degrees clockwise, and
before doing this wind the cable inside its tear-proof housing (7).
WORK
To start working, proceed as follows:
1. Make all the checks listed in “
PREPARING TO WORK
”.
2. Insert the plug (1) of the power supply cable (2) in the mains
socket (3).
3. Switch on the appliance by pressing the main switch (4).
4. If the “combined nozzle” is used, set the switch (2) in the brush
to “HARD SURFACE” or else “CARPETS”. Proceed with the
vacuuming.
If while you are working it is necessary to connect the appliance to an
electric brush, proceed as follows:
1. Switch off the appliance by pressing the main switch (1).
2. Insert the power plug in the electric brush power cable into the
socket (2) on the appliance.
STARTING WORK
ELECTRIC BRUSH CONNECTION
If while working you note that the vacuum accessory is sticking to
much to the surface on which it is being used, adjust the air flow
inside the vacuum hose using the lever on the grip and free the
accessory. If while working you note that the red indicator light (5) is
on, immediately stop the appliance and read the section “
VACUUM
INDICATOR LIGHT ACTIVE
”.
3. Switch on the appliance by pressing the main switch (1).
4. Start working with the electric brush.
