The gear motor begins to turn the segmented element. The
backflush valve and the external pressure valve are opened.
The particles are removed from the filter medium or the
external pressure medium one segment at a time by the
external pressure cleaning action and guided out of the filter
through the backflush channel. The filtration process is not
interrupted.

The enriched particles in the collection cone can be
discharged periodically.
