Troubleshooting

Energy Saver Mode

The copier/printer is in Energy Saver Mode. You must wait for the 
it to warm up before you can print.

Remove paper in 
sort bin

The sorter is full. You must remove the paper in the sorter before 
continuing the job.

Set Documents on ADF

No document is set in the DF unit. Place the document in the DF 
unit and select Resume. Select Cancel to cancel scanning from the 
DF unit.

Sort jam

The copier/printer’s sorter is jammed. The Fiery will resume 
printing when the jam is cleared.

Sort open

The copier/printer’s sorter unit is in use—possibly someone is 
removing paper from the sort bins. Printing will proceed when the 
sorter unit is not being used.

Staple curl over

This message appears when the staple job has too much toner and 
may not staple or sort correctly.

Unknown error

An error occurred with the copier/printer. 

Waiting for recovery

The Fiery is waiting for the command to continue with the 
recovery process for scanning. Press OK on the Fiery Control 
Panel.

Warming Up . . .

This is a normal status message. The copier/printer is powering 
up. It will be ready for printing in a few minutes.

Waste toner full

The copier/printer waste toner container is full of used toner. 
Replace the container with a new one according to the instructions 
in your copier/printer manual. The Fiery will resume printing 
when you have replaced the waste toner container.
