Troubleshooting
ADF not available
The DF unit is not attached. Attach the DF unit and restart
scanning.
ADF Open
The DF left cover is open. Close the cover and select Resume or
Cancel. The Fiery either resumes or cancels scanning.
ADF unit down/error,
call serviceman
The DF unit is down because it has detected an error that requires
a service call. Call your authorized service technician/
representative. Only the service technician/representative can
clear this type of error.
ADF Up
The DF is lifted. Lower the DF and select Resume or Cancel. The
Fiery either resumes or cancels scanning.
Change __ setting
on the copier
Change the specified setting at the copier/printer console.
Check power & cable
There is a problem with the copier/printer power or cable
connection. First check to make sure the copier/printer is turned
on. There may also be a problem with the cable connection
between the Fiery and the copier/printer. Make sure the cable has
not come loose. The Fiery will resume printing when the cable is
securely connected to both the Fiery and the copier/printer.
Copier adjustments.
Warming up . . .
This is a normal status message. The copier/printer is making
adjustments. It will be ready for printing in a few minutes.
Copier Busy
The Fiery has received a print job, but the copier/printer is busy.
The job will print when the copier resumes printing.
Copier error
An error occurred with the copier/printer.
Copier offline
The Suspend Printing option has been selected from the Functions
menu. Press Resume Printing in the Functions menu to reconnect
the Fiery to the copier/printer.
Door open
One of the doors on the copier/printer is open. Close the door to
resume printing.
ID mode
This message appears if your model requires that you enter a
security code.
