3.3.3 VTSA valve terminal with pressure zone separation
Please note
Note the following in the case of type VTA valve terminals
which are operated with internal pilot air and which have
several pressure zones:
·
The pilot air for all valve solenoid coils is branched
centrally from supply connection 1 in the right−hand end
plate.
·
The pressure zone, which is supplied via connection 1 on
the right−hand end plate, must be operated at a pres
sure which corresponds at least to the pilot pressure
required for the valve terminal (s. appendix A, Tab.A/4).
A seal with channnel division and a pneumatic supply plate
are required for each additional pressure zone (see fig.).
The following diagram shows as an example of a VTSA valve
terminal with blocked channels 1, 3 and 5 the assignment of
the supply and exhaust connections to the valves.
The connections 1 or 3 and 5 are:
For the pressure zone on the outside right:
On the right−hand end plate if the valve terminal is
fitted with end plate type VABE−...R−... or type
VABE−...RZ−...
On the pneumatic supply plate of the outside right
pressure zone if the valve terminal is fitted with end
plate type VABE−...RZ−...B1.
For each further pressure zone:
on the pneumatic supply plate which lies within the
relevant pressure zone.
The position of the supply plate within the pressure zone
(left, centre or right) is optional.
