Please note
Mixed operation of the VTSA valve terminal with internal
and external pilot air is not intended. Irrespective of the
available pressure zones, all valve solenoid coils of the
valve terminal are supplied centrally with the same pilot
air.
Selector end plate type VABE−...RZ−...B1
In the case of the VTSA valve terminal with selector end plate
type VABE−...RZ−...B1 you can modify the type of pilot air
(internal or external) by changing the setting of the code
cover (see Tab.3/2).
On the selector end plate you can also set whether the
breathable exhaust air (deviating from the ISO standard) is to
be vented ducted via connection 12.

5.4.3 Conversion of the VTSA valve terminal to two or more pressure
zones
The valve terminal can be equipped with 1 ... 16 pressure
zones.
The pressure zones are implemented with special sheet seals
which separate the following channels:
only the supply channel (1)
the supply channel (1) and exhaust channels (3 and 5)
only the exhaust channels (3 and 5).
