1.4 Field bus interface
There are two plugs on the node for connecting the CP
system to the RIO net work. One of these connections
is for the incoming line, the other is for the continuing
line. The signal cables for both plugs are connected in-
ternally with each other.
– Looping the RIO cable from node to node. Both
plugs are required here.
Connecting
variants
– Connecting the RIO cable by means of a T-adapter.
Only one plug is required here.
CAUTION
Branches (e.g. T-adapter) cause signal reflections,
under certain circumstances, if used with high baud
rates. This can lead to "telegram faults" with the
valves "failing" for short periods.
