4.2 Checking the valves and the valve-actuator combination
4.2.1 Manual override
You should use the manual override especially when commis-
sioning the pneumatic system, in order to check the function and
operation of the valve or the valve-actuator combination.
By actuating the manual override, you can switch the valve
without an electric signal. You only need to switch on the
compressed air supply.
The manual override has been designed to be used as follows:
Manual override design Mode of operation
Manual override with automatic
return (pushing) The manual override is reset
automatically by spring force.
