Warning
Check the plain bearing in the bearing cap and in the cover with the location
hole for claming unit KP for visible damage that might impair their function,
such as deposits and scoring. The entire bearing cap or cover with the
location hole for clamping unit KP must be replaced if the plain bearing is
showing signifi cant damage.

Clean the seats of the piston rod seals

in the bearing cap and in the
cover with clamping unit KP.

Clean the seat of the O-ring

in the end cap and in the cover with clamping
unit KP.

Grease the new piston rod seals as follows:

Grease the new O-rings and insert them into the slots in the end cap and
cover with clamping unit KP.
