10 Securing the iPad and the Tec2Screen

base
The top right connector can be locked to the Tec2Screen
® Base with the help of the locking adapter. The
iPad (1) can then no longer be pulled out, thus providing improved protection against theft.
The Tec2Screen
® Base can be secured in many places using the notebook cable lock.
Mounting
Proceed as follows:
1.
Select an object in the room to which you want to secure your device.
2. Wrap the end with the loop around the selected object.
3. Insert the key into the lock, making sure that the key’s teeth are correctly aligned to the lock.
4. Insert the locking adapter (2) into the hole in the base provided for this purpose. The connector is
automatically locked as a result.
5. Insert the lock (3) through the lock opening in both the locking adapter and the base.
6. Turn the key to secure the lock and then remove it.
