3.1
Structure and function
The base forms a link between the software on the iPad and the external hardware. The electrical signals
supplied by the hardware are transferred to the iPad via the Connects and the base. These can be then
linked, processed and displayed via the iEasyLab software.
The integrated battery enables stand-alone operation of the base in combination with the iPad. The
multimeter and the digital and analogue inputs can be used in the process.
Note
The 24 V outputs of the Power Connect, Digital I/O Connect and SysLink Connect, as well as the 10 V
outputs of the Analog Output Connect do not function in this mode!
3.2
Commissioning (general)
Proceed as follows:
1.
Insert the iPad (also refer to Chapter 2.2).
2.
Insert the Connect into the base and connect it to the peripheral equipment.
3.
Connect the power supply (24 V).
4.
Switch on the power supply.
5.
Start the iEasylab programme.
