Adjusting the play of the slides
T
RANSVERSE SLIDE
:
The play of transverse slide is adjusted by screwing or unscrewing the 4 adjustment screws
located on the right side of the slide.
To adjust the play of the slide, loosen the lock nuts with a hex wrench, loosen or tighten the
screws with a screwdriver as needed, then tighten the lock nuts.
Slide play
DO NOT excessively tighten the adjustment screws.
The slide is properly adjusted when you feel a slight resistance by turning the handwheel (G)
by hand.

ONGITUDINAL SLIDE
:
The play of the longitudinal slide is adjusted by
tightening or loosening the 3 adjustment screws located
on the left side of the slide.
To adjust the play of the slide, proceed in a similar
manner to that described previously.

ARRIAGE
:
The play of the tool-holder carriage is adjusted by screwing or unscrewing the four screws
positioned on each side of the carriage, from the front and from the rear. See the following
figures.
