Using the LCD TV

Watching the LCD TV

When you use your TV for the first time, you will need to tune, sort, and name all viewable channels. 
Refer to the following sections to learn about how to use the various features of your LCD TV.

Selecting the video inputs

Select the video input using the remote control or the front panel in one of the following ways:

• Press  the  INPUT button on the control panel of the TV 

repeatedly to toggle between the following video input 

signals: ANT, AV-IN, S-IN, SCART1-IN, SCART2-IN, 

COMPONENT IN, and PC-IN.

• Press  the  TV/AV/S button on the remote control to 

toggle between ANT, AV-IN, and S-IN input signals.

• Press  the  SCART button on the remote control to toggle 

between the SCART1-IN and SCART2-IN input signals.

• Press  the  COMPONENT button on the remote control to 

view the COMPONENT IN input signal.

• Press  the  PC button to select PC-IN input signals.

Sorting and naming channels

1. Use the CH   / 

 

buttons to select a channel with a clear 

picture.

2. Use your TV guide or Teletext to identify the channel 

(e.g. BBC1, BBC2, ITV, etc...)

3. Press MENU and then CH    to highlight CH SETTINGS, 

press VOL+ to select.

4. Press CH    to highlight CH EDIT, press VOL+ to select.
5. Press CH    to highlight NEW CH and use the number 

buttons 0-9 to input the channel number you identified in 

step 2.

6. Press CH    to highlight CH NAME, press VOL+ to select. Use the CH   buttons to select your 

chosen characters and then VOL+ to move forward to the next character.

7. When complete, press MENU until the menu screen disappears
8. Repeat steps 1-7 to sort and name all your chosen channels.

Make sure that you have made the correct connections 

in order to view the correct source signal on your TV.
