. Varying surface properties and lubrication conditions give rise to a
wide range of friction coefficients. If not otherwise specified, tightening torques can be calculated based
on their friction coefficient using the table below.
NOTE:
Locking screws with retaining ridges on the screw head contact surface have a greater friction coefficient.
