
Battery Maintenance
—Remove the battery and add distilled water as required to the
proper level. Do not use tap water which may contain minerals that reduce battery life.
Apply dielectric Grease to the terminal bolts and terminals. Charge the battery.
Storage Area/Covers
—Set tire pressure and safely support the ATV with the tires
1-2” (25-50 mm) off the ground. Be sure the storage area is well ventilated. Cover the
machine with an ATV cover.
NOTE:
Do not use plastic or coated materials. They do not allow enough ventilation
to prevent condensation, and may promote corrosion and oxidation.
Transporting
Whenever the ATV is to be transported, the following measures should be taken.
1. Turn off the engine and remove the key.
2. Turn the fuel valve to off.
3. Be certain the fuel cap, oil cap, and seat are installed correctly.
4. Always tie the frame of the ATV to the transporting until securely using suitable
straps or rope.
5. Always place the transmission in gear and lock the parking brake.

Issues of Improper Operation Belt Burning
Possible Causes
Solutions
Loading the ATV into a pickup
or tall trailer when in high range.
Shift transmission to low range during loading of the ATV to
prevent belt burning.
Starting out going up a steep
incline.
When starting out on an incline, use low range, or dismount
the ATV after first applying the park brake and perform the
“K” turn as described in this manual.
Driving at low RPM or low Drive at higher speed or use low range. The use of low range
