Procedure for commissioning
•
The initial commissioning trials should be performed when the opening system of the downstream gate or
barrier system is switched off.
•
In order to test the device, go from a place outside the detection field towards the detector and observe
the reaction of the motion detector on the display while doing so. This test should be performed from all
possible directions.
•
Using the information obtained, the detection area of the detector can now be adjusted using the
sensitivity setting.
•
The gate or barrier controller can now be put back in operation. A test with the operating gate should be
performed afterwards. If the detector reacts to the movements of the gate, the inclination angle as
compared with the gate must be increased until no more effect is observed.
•
If necessary, the size of the detection field can be adjusted somewhat using the sensitivity selection.

Parameterisation using the buttons on the motion detector
When starting parameter mode, the channel to be edited or parameterised must first be selected.
The numeric address of the first channel is displayed flashing when parameter mode is started. The following
number is automatically assigned to channel 2.
The channel for editing is opened by confirming the device address.
The value “1” is usually displayed for channel 1. If 1 is now input, channel 1 is processed and if 2 is input,
then channel 2 is processed.
