5. Innitial operation
In addition to the configuration parameters described in this installation instructions the reader
have a great number of configuration parameters which are to be set with software commands
(watch: "System-manual standard reader of the ID RW-family").
Note:
After switch-on the reader or after a reset, the reader runs through an initialised mode for
about 10 seconds (the RUN-LED V201 flashes fast). The reader can not communicate with
Transponder at this time.
5.1 Interface configuration with jumper
With the jumpers J1 - J8 the asynchronous interface can be configured as RS232 (V24 turn-off
level), RS485 or RS232-TTL.
