Permissible overhung load and permissible thrust load
Overhung load is a load on the gearhead shaft in the vertical direction like below figure. Thrust
load is a load on the gearhead shaft in the horizontal direction. Overhung load and thrust load
affects the life time or strength of shaft. So please make sure not to exceed both the permissible
overhung load and the permissible thrust load simultaneously with below chart.
