6. Control and menu structure
6.1. Control
The Lokal 400 device features menu items and selection boxes which can be activated either directly through
the touch screen or with the
dial
. If you wish to operate the device with the touch screen, just press your finger
on the requested menu item or selection box.
As an alternative, you can also turn the dial clockwise or counter-clockwise to activate the available menu items
and selection boxes.
Active menu items or selection boxes are highlighted in yellow.
As soon as the operator has pressed the dial to confirm his/her selection, the requested menu item and selection
box respectively is displayed.
Pressing on “Cancel“
makes the system leave the current menu item and selection box
respectively. The command line confirmed last will be displayed now.
6.2 Main menu
As soon as the central unit has been switched on, the main menu is displayed offering the following selection
options:
[1] Correlation measurement
[2] Geophone measurement (electroacoustic listening)
[3] Settings
[4] Data exchange with a PC
If you wish to leave the selected menu and to go back to the main menu, press
in the upper control
menu or the
“
Cancel
” key
.
